I, as most people on here are aware work for a Suzuki dealer and offer to the users on the site preferential rates on spares. It may well be in the interest of the users to put up a report on a company I have had the pleasure of using.

Thought I should share my appreciation at the helpfulness and pricing I have received from Bike Team Insurance. After seeing their link on the site, I gave them a buzz regarding an insurance quote. I spoke to a guy called Mark Davis who was clued up on the £20 offer and seemed genuinely interested in my call. The quote I received was £144 less than my renewal quote through Bennett's and had a lower excess - sorted! Needless to say, I will be insuring through Bike Team and recommend anyone from the site who is due for a renewal gives them a call.

I have just recently developed a front mudguard for the pre k3 sv650, I was wondering if you could post it on your website, these are available in SV colours and carbon fibre. We are just starting on one for the k3 k4 k5, I would be very grateful for any promotion you could help me with.

I submitted the DIY Undertail to you a year ot two ago. I have done a modification to mine due to the high-mount exhaust. So I also modified my 'How To'. If you think it is worthy of the 'HowTo' section please post it there. How to section is now updated

This is my custom '01 SV650S. The list of mods include: VFR Swingarm, Dytona wheel and Hub, Renegade underseat exhaust, K&N air filter, Jet kit, Shimmed carb needles, new sprockets and chain (Up one in the front, down two in the back), tinted windscreen and headlight covers, 190/50 Tire in the back and a 120/70 in the front, a custom paint job, and my beautiful carbon fiber gas tank (thanks to Chris Baker).

Richie sent the PDF and it's now on the manuals page. It's a big file at 8Mb zipped. Then he sent me the PDF for the Mk1 SV, so that's listed on the manuals page too.

Not much to write about this month. The new handlebars are working well and I'm enjoying the more comfortable riding position. I still wasn't happy with the front brakes, so I pulled the calipers apart just to check them over. I found the right hand side unit wasn't sliding freely on it's pins, so a good clean up and things are much better now.

Hopefully I have some more to say next month.
