Nice Paintjob
Hi John, Seems I've gone full circle and now have an SV in the garage again, this time a naked. The bike was a special offer from West London Suzuki, and styled by them. The number boards have a gold pinstripe, that matches the gold wheels and the gold Renthals. I got a black hugger rather than red, as it seemed to look better. It has a fender extender and heated grips too. I'd love to see one like this in black, it would look even better…. I've got a look in my head that I'm working to, which includes a one piece Baglux touring seat, a high level exhaust and few other little touches, but as it's a 2nd bike I'm not going over the top. My FireBlade can now have a full strip down of the bodywork and serious clean, and a few goodies so it's ready for the Spring. I know I'm going to enjoy the SV, it's the first naked bike I've had and it's a little bit of a weird feeling, not being head first through the traffic. When the sun comes out I'll get some better pictures. Regards, Steve Jelly Once bitten by an SV, you're hooked. Tis a nice paintjob. |

Shocks Hi John Thought I’d better get summat to you (see attachment). This guy has really sorted the think on shock mods for those of us who don’t have 100s to spend Alex An interesting read, thanks |

March The ongoing saga that is my winter rebuild is nearly complete. For the full story see 'Diary of a mk2 SV restorer' in the articles section. The 2006 rideout is taking shape, still a lot of detail to complete but at least a campsite has been decided on and bookings are underway. See the forum section AR06 for information and I've also added a new button on the menu of the main site. Now that spring is appearing, I'll have a chance to start testing out the route. The new forum server is running well. TSM is chucking all sorts of bells and whistles into it and adding to the enjoyment. I've had to ask TSM to block images and links in the Sig files as some people were starting to get a little silly. Large images were starting to appear and whilst I appreciated that all owners are proud of their steeds, the overall effect was of a page covered in adverts. I've added a Google search tool to the main site. Should be better than the previous search tool. Hope you like the wacky SV on this months cover. Read more about it here http://www.bikeweb.com/node/374 Sorry this page is so thin this month but the mail box seems mainly full of spam. John
